Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to apply project management concepts to an Integrative Project (selected PROJ-610). In this workshop, you will build upon your resource management plan and supporting project documents by developing a project charter, creating a conflict resolution process, and outlining key interpersonal skills most relevant for your Integrative Project.

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

Background Information

Now that you have a solid understanding of resource management and planning concepts, you will build upon your resource management documentation for your Integrative Project. You will start by describing a key interpersonal skill you will use for your Integrative Project. Then, you will create a team charter document, which will outline your team’s values, communication guidelines, ground rules, norms, or additional relevant agreements. Finally, you will develop a conflict resolution process for your team. Be sure to explain how each of these aspects of your resource planning documentation will increase team cohesiveness and effectiveness.

  1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
  2. Review the following resources, as needed:

    2. Agile Fundamentals: A Comprehensive Guide to Using an Agile Approach, Chapter 7: High-Performing Teams and Chapter 8: Team Development
    3. Article: Team Charter Template and Article

  3. In this assignment, you will:
    1. Identify the one most critical interpersonal and team skill needed for your Integrative Project (active listening, facilitation, leadership, networking, political awareness). Detail the key factors of why this skill will lead to the success of your project.
    2. Write a Team Charter for your project. At a minimum, outline your team’s values, communication guidelines (ground rules and norms), and a conflict resolution process.
    3. Note: This team charter should be consistent with other resource management plan components already developed.
  4. Your submission should be a minimum of 350 words.
  5. All references and citations should be in APA format.
