BIS-460: Systems Analysis and Design. You have been hired as a consultant to help an organization whose main business software has been determined to be antiquated and needs replacement. You are given the task of creating, developing, and instituting the new software that suits the organization’s needs. You may choose an organization that is part of the medical, financial, or retail industry. Once you have chosen your organization, you will be in control of the rest of the details of the project. Be sure to choose an industry you have some familiarity with, and you may use any outside resources as long as they are credited.

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

    1. Introduction of the organization and its industry
    2. Why the system needs to be replaced
    3. The software will be developed to address different OS platforms, mobile platforms, and web interfaces. Include in your introduction which platforms will be addressed.
    4. An overview of the different phases of the SDLC
    5. Identify potential obstacles that may be faced during the lifecycle of the project
    6. The expected start and completion dates of the project
