Top designers who embraced the Avant-Garde or whose work is closely aligned with the same are Yohji Yamamoto, Thierry Mugler, and Rei Kawakubo. Relatively few artists can perceive themselves as authentic innovators with the power to alter global fashion direction beyond its conventional commercial purposes.   Abstracts are a very important part of academic/scholarly writing and need special attention since most everything ends up on the Internet and into databases.
