For the information technologist, this is critical, as cyber threats continue to be a problem. With nearly all organizations being interconnected through the internet, criminals persist in their activities by taking advantage of technology vulnerabilities. A key to overcoming the potential for cyber fraud is the process of governance.

- Read Chapters 9 and 10 in your textbook and the article by Wald, de Laubier, and Charanya(new tab).
- In the discussion link below, respond to the following prompts:
- Appraise the risks that could be associated with implementing a technology solution for a business unit. How would you prioritize the risks?
- Select a technology solution you are familiar with (e.g., a cloud-based provision, an enterprise software application, or some other solution) and develop a pros and cons list of four or five benefits for implementation. How would you approach making a go or no-go decision based on the list?
- Your initial post should be a minimum of 300 words and is due by the fourth day of the workshop week.
- Conduct a critical analysis of two of your classmates’ posts and submit by the last day of the workshop.
- Each response to your classmates should be at least 150 words in length and include a citation to one credible information source. The response should follow APA formatting.
