BIS-460: Business Systems Analysis and Design. Before a project begins, there must be an established need or a problem to solve. A System Vision Document is a pre-project activity that briefly describes a problem and then gives a basic overview of how the new system works. It is often used to help obtain approval for a project to begin. Other documents and tools are used in support of the processes.

Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to:

  • Describe the various phases of systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Describe the process of SDLC.
  • Transform organizational requirements for information into an appropriate system specification using a variety of system description documents and automated tools.
